DAMIAN WINTERBURN
Managing Director
​Damian has 23 years of property and finance experience both in Australia and the USA.
​
Prior to Boulder Capital, Damian was the National Partner of Deloitte’s Real Estate business in Australia for 5 years, where Damian was a key advisor to several major Australian and Global property developers, funds and government bodies in relation to their real estate holdings and investments, including managing their developments and capital structuring. During this period Damian advised on over $10Bn worth of property projects for several of Australia’s largest property matters and transactions.
Prior to Deloitte, Damian was the founder and managing director of CapLand Real Estate Advisors, a boutique real estate advisory firm, that was renowned for its restructuring and workouts capability on behalf of several Australian and offshore banks, while at CapLand Damian advised and assisted in the management of over $2Bn worth of property projects to maximize the asset values and enhanced the returns to both the senior lenders and stakeholders.
In addition to these two roles, Damian has personally managed a range of development projects across several asset classes including: residential, retail, industrial, office, senior housing, hotel and child care in Australia and overseas.
Damian holds a degree in property economics from QUT, he is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. He is actively involved in multiple property industry committees and is a regular advisor to key government bodies such as the Reserve Bank of Australia. Damian previously sat on the board for several years of not for profit, Common Ground QLD to help house formerly homeless within greater Brisbane. In addition, he worked closely with Youngcare to provide critical and industry-leading accommodation within both QLD and NSW.
ADAM CALLAGHAN
Investment Director
Adam is an experienced property professional with over 25 years in the industry, spanning valuation, banking and finance, property development, insolvency, and advisory. Throughout his career, he has worked with leading organisations such as Savills, Macquarie Bank, and Grant Samuel. Adam is committed to assisting clients achieve successful development projects, having gained extensive experience across a variety of sectors, including residential, Build-to-Rent, office, retail, and industrial properties.
He plays an integral role in all stages of the property development finance process, including transaction origination, deal structuring, options analysis, market research, due diligence, risk assessment, feasibility analysis, documentation, and ongoing transaction management.
Adam has cultivated strong, long-term professional relationships with developers, investors, financiers and consultants. He holds a Bachelor of Property Economics (UTS), a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment (FINSIA), an Advanced Certificate in Insolvency, and a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management.
