Damian has 22 years of property and finance experience both in Australia and the USA.
Prior to Boulder Capital, Damian was the National Partner of Deloitte’s Real Estate business in Australia for 5 years, where Damian was a key advisor to several major Australian and Global property developers, funds and government bodies in relation to their real estate holdings and investments, including managing their developments and capital structuring. During this period Damian advised on over $10Bn worth of property projects for several of Australia’s largest property matters and transactions.
Prior to Deloitte, Damian was the founder and managing partner of CapLand Real Estate Advisors, a boutique real estate advisory firm, that was renowned for its restructuring and workouts capability on behalf of several Australian and offshore banks, while at CapLand Damian advised and assisted in the management of over $2Bn worth of property projects to maximize the asset values and enhanced the returns to both the senior lenders and stakeholders.
In addition to these two roles, Damian has managed a range of development projects across several asset classes including: residential, retail, industrial, office, senior housing, hotel and child care in Australia and overseas.
Damian holds a degree in property economics from QUT, he is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. He is actively involved in several property industry committees, and is a regular advisor to key government bodies such as the Reserve Bank of Australia and Treasury.
Cameron has 26 years of property and financial experience including over 10 years of delivering real estate debt and equity transactions.
Prior to Boulder Capital, Cameron was CFO for the City of Brisbane Investment Corporation (CBIC), Brisbane City Council’s Future Fund, where he had responsibility for finance, strategic planning and risk management that included managing the company’s property finance investments.
Prior to CBIC, Cameron managed a high net worth family’s property business for 10 years that included providing real estate debt and equity to a range of property developers and investors. During this period the business become one of QLD’s leading private lending businesses.
Cameron is experienced in financing projects along the eastern seaboard, across multiple asset classes and finance structures. He has also consulted to several private equity and ASX listed companies, in relation to complex funding structures for their corporate and property interests.
Cameron holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UQ, is a Certified Practicing Accountant and has managed multiple residential developments from concept to completion. He holds a position on the Membership and Housing Committees for UDIA QLD, as well as being a presenter on development finance in the UDIA professional development courses.
James has 20 years of property and finance experience both in Australia and the USA.
Prior to Boulder Capital, James was the National Director of Deloitte Real Estate’s transactions business in Australia for 6 years. He specialised in managing property acquisitions, divestments & structured finance transactions, including joint ventures, senior & subordinated debt & equity finance.
James has managed over 100 transactions, totalling over $2Bn on behalf of a range of public & private property development companies, domestic & offshore banks, investors & funds. Clients he has acted for include Macquarie Bank, NAB, St George Bank, Bank of Scotland, Aveo, Stockland, Mirvac, LaSalle Investment Management, Grocon, VillaWorld, Peet, Aria, CIMIC, BMD, Sunland, Daimler & Cromwell. In addition, James has spent considerable time throughout Asia working with offshore capital & developers entering the Australian market.
Prior to Deloitte, James managed the transactions division for CapLand Real Estate Advisors, a boutique real estate advisory firm. Within this role James helped facilitate several of the largest development site transactions within the South East QLD market, working closely with multiple developers, funds & banks.
In addition to these two roles, James has held senior property acquisitions & transaction management roles in Australia & the USA & has successfully managed transactions throughout QLD, NSW, VIC & WA.
